Here are just a few of the ways we’ve found that businesses can effectively give back:
- Organize a Donation Drive: If there’s a natural disaster or event such as the holidays to bring people together, let your business be the central coordinating force in collecting donations. Your team will certainly participate. You should also make sure you share on social media that you’re collecting donations for a certain cause. That way, others in your network who want to participate will bring in their donations as well. Your business then takes on the responsibility for getting those donations to the right place.
- Find a Cause That Resonates With Your Team: When you find a particular cause that your team members really care about, they can often come up with creative ways to make an impact by using the unique knowledge your business has developed.
